The UAE's historic satellite mission to Mars is on track to lift-off in 2020.
According to the lead engineer of the project, Hope Probe will be launched from Japan between July and September next year.
It is expected to orbit around the Red Planet in 2021, sending back crucial data of the Red Planet's environment.
Meanwhile, the UAE's bid to send the first Emirati into space has been delayed.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) confirmed that neither Hazza Al Mansouri or Sultan Al Neyadi will board the Soyuz this April as earlier scheduled.
It comes after the project failed to launch in October, affecting the timetable for future flights.
