EU agrees visa-free travel for UK citizens even after no-deal exit

Member states of the European Union have agreed to give the UK visa-free travel even if the country leaves the bloc without a deal.

However, there is scepticism among the remaining 27 members on whether to agree to any proposed extension of Brexit.

Officials from Ireland and Germany say that the only way Brexit can be pushed back beyond the end of March is if there is a clear idea on the way forward.
