The United Kingdom has cleared the extradition process of businessman Vijay Mallya to India to face fraud charges.
Mallya, who moved to Britain in March 2016, has a 14-day window to appeal to a higher court.
According to reports, the procedure could take at least 7-8 months if Mallya uses all his legal options.
Mallya, the co-owner of the Formula One motor racing team Force India, has denied any wrongdoing in the AED 4.7 billion fraud and says the case is politically motivated.
