Dubai's tourism sector has witnessed a steady growth in numbers since its reopening in July 2020.
According to the Dubai Media Office, the number of visitors to the emirate increased tenfold between July 2020 and March 2021.
Meanwhile, hotel occupancy rates grew from 34 per cent to 64 per cent with a 19 per cent monthly growth in reservations.
The number of booked rooms also registered an increase (from 993,000 to 2.4 million).
During the first quarter of 2021, Dubai welcomed over 1.26 million passengers.
Dubai is currently hosting the Arabian Travel Market with 1,300 exhibitors from 62 countries. The event will run until May 19.
