Kylie Jenner has been stripped off her billionaire status after Forbes accused the star's family of "inflating the value of her cosmetics business".

It was last year that Forbes had declared Jenner as the youngest self-made billionaire owing to the popularity of her Kylie Cosmetics brand.

Following an investigation, the magazine said a deal between Jenner and beauty giant Coty in January was "significantly smaller and less profitable" than they were led to believe.

Her net worth is now estimated at just under $900 million.

Meanwhile, Jenner dismissed the article as "inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions" in a series of tweets.
