Australian police have found the remains of a woman believed to be that of a hiker who went missing in the outback more than two weeks ago.
"Police located the body, which is believed to be that Claire Hockridge during search efforts," Northern Territory police said.
She was stranded in the central Australian outback along with her partner, Tamra McBeath-Riley, and friend Phu Tran, after their car became bogged down in the soft desert roads in the region.
Beath-Riley and Tran were both found alive earlier this week.
