Singapore sorry for sending positive coronavirus test results in error

Singapore has apologised to 357 COVID-19 patients who received an erroneous text message saying they had tested positive again.

The health ministry, in a statement, blamed an IT glitch for the mistake and apologised "for any inconvenience and anxiety caused".

It added that the recipients had been alerted within hours.

So far, the country has recored over 28,000 cases and 22 deaths.
