Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defence has announced that two drones targeted the US embassy in Riyadh on Tuesday.
The ministry said that the incident sparked a small fire and resulted in minor damage to the building, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The authority has also announced its interception and destruction of 8 drones near the cities of Riyadh and Al-Kharj.
