The UAE is among several countries that have been taken off the UK's quarantine list.

This means travellers flying from those countries will not have to self-isolate for two weeks upon arrival in the UK.

In addition to the UAE, the safe travel list includes Bahrain, Chile, Iceland, Cambodia, Laos, Qatar and Turks & Caicos Islands.

Meanwhile, mainland Greece has been taken off the list, meaning that anyone arriving from there will have to self-isolate for 14 days.

However, five Greek islands: Corfu, Crete, Rhodes, Zakynthos and Kos will remain on the safe travel list.

The measures come into effect from 04:00 GMT on Saturday.
