The UK will add booster jab records to the NHS COVID pass for travel from today.

According to reports, the decision comes after a number of European countries, including Croatia, Austria and Switzerland, recently announced restrictions on those who have not had a booster. They've said only travellers with proof of three doses will be considered "fully vaccinated" and can enter without quaratine.

"We want to make it as easy as possible for people to show their vaccine status if they are travelling abroad," explained UK health secretary, Sajid Javid.

"This update to the NHS Covid pass will mean people can have their complete medical picture at their fingertips if they are going on holiday or seeing loved ones overseas."
