The semi-final match between Novak Djokovic and Dominic Thiem was suspended after bad weather at Roland Garros yesterday
Austrian fourth seed Thiem led 6-2 3-6 3-1 when wind and rain halted play against the World number 1.
The move has drawn criticism on social media as many pointed out that it had stopped raining with daylight left.
Djokovic is bidding to become the first man in the Open era to win all four Grand Slam titles at the same time on two separate occasions, while last year's runner-up Thiem, is hoping to become the first Austrian player to reach a second Grand Slam final.
The winner will play 11-time champion Rafael Nadal in the final on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Australia's Ashleigh Barty will take on Czech Republic's Marketa Vondrousova in the women's final on Philippe Chatrier this evening.
