Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar's unbeaten half-centuries propelled Sunrisers Hyderabad to an eight-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals in Dubai on Thursday.

Chasing a total of 155 runs, Sunrisers were off to a disastrous start after Jofra Archer picked two wickets early on. However, an unbeaten 140-run partnership between Pandey (83 off 47 balls) and Shankar (52 off 51) helped the team over the ropes.

Meanwhile, Sanju Samson remained the highest scorer for Rajasthan Royals with 36 runs off 26 deliveries.

The win pitches Sunrisers to the fifth position and secures a chance for play-offs.
