1.5 tonnes of drugs seized in Abu Dhabi

Police in Abu Dhabi have seized 1.5 tonnes of banned drugs and 1.2 million narcotic pills in multiple drug operations in 2019.

The Police highlighted its continued interest in arresting drug traffickers and exposing their methods.

The Directorate of Narcotics in the Criminal Security Sector have foiled several drug smuggling attempts with cooperation from local, regional and international police forces.

They also called on the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to 8002626.
