Dubai government entities will continue to work remotely until Friday, April 19, with the exception of jobs that require on-site presence.
According to the Dubai Media Office, the decision will help facilitate the work of field teams in response to the recent severe weather conditions.
All relevant entities in Dubai have intensified their efforts to mitigate the situation resulting from the heavy rainfall.
Earlier in the day, the authorities in the emirate had also announced the extension of remote learning for private educational institutions for two more days.
