SEHA to open additional COVID-19 testing centres in UAE

The Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, SEHA, is expanding the capacity of its COVID-19 testing facilities in the UAE.

Within the next week, three new centres will open in Abu Dhabi and two in Al Ain, in addition to three in Al Dhafra region and another one in Dubai.

The operating hours of the drive-through centres in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain will also be increased from five days a week to six.

This means, SEHA will be able to accommodate over 7,000 additional tests daily, bringing the weekly total capacity to more than 115,000.

The screening is free of charge for UAE citizens and their domestic workers, people of determination, pregnant women, senior residents (50+ years), people with chronic disease or COVID-19 symptoms, as well as those who have come into contact with the virus.
