Residents in the UAE are being urged to take necessary precautions as unstable weather conditions continue in the region.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), rain, strong winds, thunder and lighting will continue for the next couple of days.

Authorities added that blowing dust and sand will also reduce visibility on the roads.

Meanwhile, some schools in Fujairah have been shut as a precaution.

On Saturday, strong winds caused a parasailing accident in Khor Fakkan, leaving six people injured.
