Head quartered in Los Angeles, the US-based, one-billion consumer per month publisher, ‘theAudience’, has become known as one of the world's most innovative and largest social-media publishing and marketing companies. Mohammed Khammas, Al Ahli CEO, said the acquisition is in line with his company’s long-term global diversification plan and will be key to the international expansion of its rapidly growing lifestyle, entertainment and digital-media portfolio. theAudience’s expertise is in connecting brands and consumers, and the company has worked with such iconic brands as American Express, McDonald's, Unilever, Ford and, in the entertainment industry, Paramount, Universal, Sony and 20th Century Fox.
