As COVID-imposed restrictions ease across the globe and travel demands gain momentum, passenger traffic at Dubai Airports is en route to cross the 27 million mark by the end of 2021.
That's the projection set by Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports.
During his interview with Dubai Eye 103.8's Business Breakfast on Tuesday, he said the growth over the last few weeks has been stronger than originally predicted.
Griffiths explained that the projections are based on the current passenger traffic touching approximately 850,000 per week.
Meanwhile, DXB is also set to reopen all the mobility infrastructure around the airport to meet this surge in travel demand.
This comes in light of Dubai reclaiming the title of the world's busiest airport.
