About 68 per cent of the ongoing repatriation flights for Indians affected by coronavirus has been set apart for the GCC countries, Anurag Srivastava, the spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.
Under the Vande Bharat Mission, 1,350 international flights will operate to 28 countries between March 1 and March 28.
Of these, nearly 920 flights have been allocated for GCC countries.
India, which continues to ban international commercial flights, has bilateral air bubble arrangements with 27 countries including five GCC states.
