Taylor Swift spent £640,000 on her pre-birthday celebration. The 'Bad Blood' singer marked her impending 26th birthday and the end of the Australian leg of her '1989' tour by renting the private Hamilton Island and spared no expense in ensuring her 125-member crew, friends and family could be with her for the extravagant bash. A source said: "Taylor chartered private jets to fly friends from Los Angeles and New York. "She invited Ed Sheeran and her family who flew out for the end of her tour. "Flying everyone across the globe set her back £330,000, on top of renting a private mansion on Hamilton Island for £17,000. "All the food and drink cost around £165,000 - she even enlisted a squad of private caterers from LA and New York - and she bought a £13,000 birthday cake. "Taylor wanted a party to remember." And Taylor - who also spent £50,000 on a firework display - is also planning another birthday party when she returns to the US. She has asked her famous friends to keep a date free and wants to treat them with a £65,000 slumber party. The source said: "She's hired private masseuses, manicurists and facialists to pamper everyone." Yet despite her own generosity, the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker doesn't want any birthday gifts. The source told Closer magazine: "Amazingly Taylor is holding fast to a no-gifts rule. "She just wants her friends around to celebrate her birthday."
