Hit reality franchise 'The Real Housewives' is going international, with its new series headed to the UAE.
That's right! Executive show producer Andy Cohen made the big reveal on the Today show.
"We’re going to the billionaire’s playground. The city of gold. The desert oasis. ‘The Real Housewives of Dubai’ is happening," he announced.
The Real Housewives of Dubai will follow the original format, highlighting how "a group of women navigate their relationships, careers and supremely lavish and ultra-wealthy lifestyles".
Bravo, which airs the show in the US, took to Twitter to make the announcement. "Pack your bags for Bravo’s first original international Housewives franchise, The Real Housewives of Dubai! Bravoholics, we’re leaving the hashtag up to YOU! Tweet using #RHODubai or #RHODXB to cast your vote, we’ll be announcing the winner on Friday!"
Despite the show having 15 international versions, Cohen claimed it will be Bravo’s first original international iteration of The Real Housewives.
The show is set to premiere in 2022.
