The first phase of the assembly elections in the Indian state of Bihar has concluded, covering 121 constituencies across 18 districts.
Polling for the remaining 122 seats will take place in the second phase on November 11, with vote counting scheduled for November 14.
The election campaign has focused on issues ranging from development to law and order.
The ruling NDA alliance, led by the BJP and JD(U), is up against the opposition grand alliance, led by the RJD and Congress.
