Football fans who are unable to head to Qatar for the FIFA World Cup need not fret, more fan zones have been unveiled in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Packed with jumbo screens and table-top games, Expo City Dubai will have two zones - the family-friendly Jubilee Park and a more deluxe experience at Al Wasl - that can host up to 12,500 visitors.
Jubilee Park will open from 5:00 pm until 1:30 am on weekdays and 12:00 noon until 1:30 am on weekends, while Al Wasl will open from 6:00 pm to 9:30 and 10:00 pm to 01:30 am.
General admission to Fan City starts at AED 30, and is free for children aged 12 and under.
In the UAE capital, the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi will open a fan zone on Yas Island's Yas Links, which can accommodate 2,000 people daily.
The main viewing zone will feature a giant LED screen, making it one of the largest outdoor screens in the country.
The other three zones are activation zone, F&B and VIP lounge zones and will offer visitors a "tournament within a tournament" with daily and weekly FIFA 23 community tournaments on PS5.
