Britain's Andy Murray made a successful return to tennis action following a crucial hip surgery with an impressive victory in the Queen's doubles.
He partnered Feliciano Lopez to beat top seeds Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah 7-6(5) 6-3 at the Queen's Club championships on Thursday.
"I expected to enjoy the match because I told myself I was going to regardless of what happened," said Murray. "To feel as well as I did there -- not perfect in terms of everything like my movement, but pain-free...I enjoyed it. I feel like I'm going to continue to progress."
Murray also revealed his plans for Wimbledon, where he will partner Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert.
“I feel optimistic about the future. I don’t know how long it will take to get to that level [the fitness required for singles], but hopefully not too long.”
