Dubai residents are all set to join the Beat Diabetes walkathon tomorrow to raise awareness about the disease. All proceeds from the walk at Zabeel Park in Dubai will be donated to the Al Jalila Foundation to support diabetes research in the country. According to latest statistics from International Diabetes Federation, 19.3% of the UAE population is living with the killer disease.
