A salon, gym and four food outlets in Dubai have been shut down for failing to comply with the COVID-19 safety regulations.
They include a gym in Satwa, a fitness centre in Mirdif, two restaurants in Al Rigga and Muhaisnah, and two cafeterias in Jafza and Umm Suqeim.
Meanwhile, 44 commercial establishments have been fined and warnings handed to 76 other businesses.
As many as 2,540 outlets have been inspected during the latest round of field visits by officials at Dubai Municipality.
A total of 2,415 businesses were found to be fully compliant with the rules.
