Sharjah's Child Safety Department is publishing a new digital guide for parents and pupils to mark the reopening of schools today.

The e-booklet advises families on how to manage the transition of returning to classes and curb the spread of COVID-19.

The guide is available in both Arabic and English for students in Sharjah’s private schools.

It includes advice for pupils who are physically going back to school as well as those continuing distance learning.

It also provides tips for parents on how to monitor their children’s homework and help them plan their daily routine to balance play and study time.

The Child Safety Department's Director, Hanadi Saleh Al Yafei, said, “With proper knowledge and preparedness, we can achieve a smooth transitioning for all families as children return to the classroom, whether via distance learning or hybrid models.”
