Digital parking permit launched for people of determination

Dubai Police

The Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination has announced parking permits for people of determination in Abu Dhabi and Dubai are now available digitally.

The move replaces traditional paper permits, allowing individuals to conveniently store and access their permits directly on their smartphones or other devices.

The Organisation emphasised they'll be electronically linked to a unified system between Abu Dhabi and Dubai making travel between the two emirates more accessible and flexible.

People of Determination from any other emirate who have valid permits from the relevant authorities in their emirate can also benefit from the designated parking spaces in Abu Dhabi.

The process was implemented by the Ministry of Community Development, in coordination with Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination, and in collaboration with the General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police, General Headquarters of Dubai Police, Integrated Transport Centre , Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, Government Empowerment Department – Abu Dhabi, and Parkin.
