The Crown Prince of Dubai on Tuesday reviewed safety protocols at Dubai International Airport (DXB) as the emirate began welcoming back tourists.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, said the multi-faceted measures that Dubai has adopted reflects its position as one of the world’s most sought-after destinations.

DXB has implemented comprehensive protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all passengers.

On Tuesday, Dubai began receiving its first set of international tourists since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Even during the past few months, Dubai ranked as one of the world’s five most visited cities for the fifth year in a row by Mastercard’s Global Destination Cities Index (GDCI) 2019.
