H.H. Sheikh Hamdan visits injured firefighters in hospital

The Dubai Crown Prince visited "hero" firefighters in the hospital after they suffered injuries while battling a warehouse blaze.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, expressed his gratitude for their sacrifice. 

"Today, I visited the Dubai Civil Defence heroes who were injured while extinguishing a warehouse fire," he wrote.

"We are highly grateful for the determination and sacrifice of these brave firefighters, who are a great source of pride for us all."

The men suffered injuries while battling a fire that struck two warehouses at Dubai Investments Park on Tuesday.

Another firefighter Sgt Adel Nasser Saleh died in the incident.
