RTA announces service hours during Eid Al Fitr

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the working hours for all its services during the Eid Al Fitr holiday, which will run from Saturday March 29 to Tuesday April 2.

Regular working hours will resume on Wednesday, April 3. The affected services include Customer Happiness Centres, paid parking zones, public buses, Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transport, and vehicle testing centres (technical inspection).

Vehicle testing centres will be closed from 1 to 3 Shawwal, with regular operations resuming on 4 Shawwal. Customer Happiness Centres will also remain closed during the same period, while Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and RTA Headquarters will continue to operate 24/7 as usual.

Metro and Tram

Dubai Metro’s Red and Green Line stations will operate as follows: on Saturday, March 29, from 5:00 am to 1:00 am (next day); on Sunday, March 30, from 8:00 am to 1:00 am (next day); and from Monday to Wednesday, March 31 to April 2, from 5:00 am to 1:00 am (next day).

Meanwhile, Dubai Tram will operate from Saturday to Monday, March 29 to 31, from 6:00 am to 1:00 am (next day). On Sunday, March 30, services will start at 9:00 am and continue until 1:00 am (next day).

Dubai Bus and Marine Transport

For the latest service timings of public buses (Dubai Bus), Hatta Bus, and marine transport services—including the Water Taxi, Dubai Ferry, traditional Abra, and electric heritage Abra—during the Eid Al Fitr holiday, can be found HERE.

Please note that Bus Route E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station will be out of service from the afternoon of 28 Ramadan until 3 Shawwal. During this period, passengers are advised to use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi. Additionally, Route E102 will be suspended from 28 Ramadan until 3 Shawwal.

Public Parking

All public parking will be free of charge during the Eid Al Fitr holiday, except for multi-level parking terminals. The free parking period will run from 1 to 3 Shawwal, with paid parking fees resuming on 4 Shawwal.
