The UAE has extended distance learning across all schools until Friday, April 17, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students and staff.
The Ministry of Education said the decision applies to students, as well as teaching and administrative staff, across all nurseries, kindergartens, and public and private schools nationwide.
Authorities added the situation will be reviewed on a weekly basis, with further updates to be issued as needed.
The move comes as part of ongoing measures to prioritise safety while maintaining continuity in education.
