UAE foreign minister discusses regional security with global partners

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has discussed the latest regional developments with counterparts from Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Bolivia.

The discussions come in the wake of Iranian missile attacks targeting the UAE and other countries, as well as the announcement of a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran.

During the phone calls, Sheikh Abdullah stressed the need for Iran to fully commit to an immediate halt to hostilities, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and an end to threats against global trade, energy security and freedom of navigation.

He also thanked the ministers for their solidarity with the UAE, reaffirming that residents and visitors in the country remain safe.

The talks highlighted the importance of coordinated international efforts to achieve lasting peace and strengthen stability across the region.
