The majority of the UAE’s affluent middle class doesn’t see value in bank reward programmes. This is according to a new report by Collinson Group which surveyed 4,437 consumers in the UAE and across the globe. 72% of those polled say they don’t find the benefits interesting and don’t feel they can accumulate sufficient points to redeem rewards. The study also details how 58% only have a basic bank account with no added benefits and 60% have credit cards that lack benefits such as cashback or air miles.
