UAE President congratulates President of Angola on re-election

President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has sent a written message to Angolan President João Manuel Lourenço congratulating him on his re-election as President of the Republic of Angola.

This came as President Lourenço received Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State, who participated in the inauguration ceremony held in the capital, Luanda.

Sheikh Shakhboot conveyed to the Angolan President the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, wishing him and the people of Angola further progress and prosperity.

He praised the UAE-Angola's strong relations, underscoring the UAE's keenness to strengthen cooperation between the two countries to achieve the aspirations of the two countries.

In turn, Angola's President reciprocated the greetings of the UAE leaders, wishing them and the people of UAE continued success.

He then highlighted the growth and development of UAE-Angola relations, stressing his country's aspiration to strengthen cooperation with the UAE across all domains.
