Fog alert issued in parts of UAE

Red and Yellow fog alerts have been issued as dense fog blankets some parts of Sharjah, Ras al Khaimah, Umm al Quwain and Ajman.

In a series of tweets, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) urged residents to exercise caution on the roads as fog will impact visibility.

They added that visibility could drop further over some coastal and inland areas until 9:00 am.
