The UAE is the first globally in the government’s ability to adapt to changes posed by the coronavirus pandemic, a new index has revealed.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, took to his official Twitter handle to make the big reveal, adding: "We did not stand still during the pandemic and we will not stop moving forward."
According to the IMD World Competitiveness Ranking 2021 by Switzerland's International Institute for Management Development, the UAE also topped the world in 20 development indicators.
