A man in Ajman helped his wife deliver their baby at home, thanks to paramedics who guided him over the phone.

National Ambulance responded to the emergency call after the woman suddenly went into labour.

They stayed with the father on the phone until the medics arrived.

The hospital was also alerted to ensure a smooth handover.

In order to avoid complications, pregnant women have been urged to make regular visits to the doctor and take note of the expected delivery date.
