Starting November 1, UAE nationals will be able to travel to Japan without a visa as long as their stay does not exceed 30 days.

Revealing the details on their official Twitter page, the UAE Embassy in Tokyo added that Emirati travellers must also provide a negative PCR test with a 72-hour validity or proof of vaccination.

Currently, Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Sinopharm vaccines are listed in Japan's approved list.

The move follows a recently-announced partnership between the two countries.
